Mike MacDonald - Offensive Line Coach

Bio: Coach Mike returns to the Gryphons program after two years of retirement at the end of the 2021 season. He has an extensive coaching resume gathered over many years coaching offensive lines at many levels. A number of players he has coached at Guelph were named OUA All stars, All Canadians, and went on to have careers in the CFL.
In 2021, he was awarded the Gino Fracus Award as the Top Volunteer Assistant Coach in Canada in USports Football. In 2008 He was named Coach of the Year by Football Ontario.
Coach Mike retired in 2012 after 28 years as an RCMP officer serving all over Canada and abroad.

2021 – 2023: Offensive Line Coach, Quinte Skyhawks U 18 and U 22 Teams.
2010 – 2021: Offensive Line Coach, University of Guelph.
2004-2009: Offensive Line Coach, Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School, Burlington.
2001-2015: Head Coach, Offensive Line Coach, Burlington Stampeders.
